RALEIGH, N.C. — WakeEd Partnership (WakeEd), a business-backed nonprofit supporting public education in Wake County, announced today the election of Braxton Anthony, Principal at Rich Commercial Realty, as Chair of its Board of Directors. In addition, six prominent Triangle business leaders will join the Board effective July 1, 2025, for three-year terms:
- William Byrd, Senior Project Manager, Balfour Beatty
- Adrienne Cole, President and CEO, Raleigh Chamber
- Ashley Dennis, Vice President, Moseley Architects
- Chad Jemison, Founder, Bright Ideas Realty
- Jeff Reichard, System Executive Director, Acute Care and Supply Chain Pharmacy Services, UNC Health
- Kristen Tettemer, RDU1 Site Leader, Amazon

Braxton Anthony joined Rich Commercial Realty in 2019 as a Principal after eight years with a global commercial real estate firm. He previously worked for a Raleigh-based general contracting company, estimating commercial construction projects. Today, he specializes in office and flex tenant and buyer representation, helping clients across North Carolina develop real estate strategies that reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and offer long-term flexibility.
A Raleigh native and graduate of Needham B. Broughton High School, Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of South Carolina. He was recently inducted into the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a global network recognized for ethical standards, experience, and expertise in commercial real estate.
