WakeEd Partnership Community School Supply Drive Launch Event Monday, July 11th

\"\"

WakeEd Partnership (WakeEd) is launching “Back to School with Tools4Schools” on July 11, a five-week community-wide school supply drive to stock the shelves at WakeEd’s free classroom supply store for teachers Tools4Schools.

As part of the drive several organizations are hosting drop boxes and conducting their own drives for new classroom supplies to go to Tools4Schools for Wake County teachers See list here: https://www.wakeed.org/wakeed-partnership-launching-community-school-supply-drive-in-july/

North Carolina teachers spend an average of $526 out of their own pockets for classroom supplies for their students. WakeEd opened Tools4Schools in January 2022 to help close that gap and ensure that all students have the supplies they need to focus on learning.

WakeEd is hosting an official kick-off event in Holly Springs that will include an announcement of a new Challenge Grant to raise funds for Tools4Schools.
