County Manager’s Budget Proposes $30 Million More for Schools

Wake County Manager David Ellis proposed increasing the spending for WCPSS by $30 million in fiscal 2018-19. That\’s well below the $58.9 million the school board\’s requested increase. The school system says it will take $48 million just to maintain the same level of service as this school year.
